The City of Fremantle's innovative 3D modelling tool has received industry commendation, in the field of Technology and Digital Innovation.
The Planning Institute of Australia (WA) acknowledged the City Design team for pursuing the integration of 3D tools into the development assessment process.
The 3D modelling tool converts two-dimensional plans into three-dimensional visualisations of what developments in the city centre would look like now and in the future.
The 3D map of the city centre can be viewed by anyone through the City of Fremantle website.
