Hobsons Bay Councillors are inviting residents to join them for a free coffee in local open spaces and ask questions about key projects and areas of concern.

The first Coffee with a Councillor event will be with Cherry Lake Ward Councillor Tony Briffa on Saturday 30 April, 12.30pm to 2.30pm at Ransom Reserve in Altona.

Mayor of Hobsons Bay Cr Peter Hemphill said the Coffee with a Councillor program is all about providing opportunities to reconnect with the community as we recover from COVID-19.

"Councillors are looking forward to face-to-face events and meeting members of our wonderful community," said Cr Hemphill.

"For the past two years, we've had limited opportunity to attend events, community workshops and engagement sessions. We're excited to get back into the community in-person and hear your feedback, ideas and concerns."

Alongside your local councillor, members of customer service, the traffic team, project managers and community engagement teams will be onsite to assist and answer questions you might have in your local area.
