Community Political Fairness Rally

Sustainable Australia Senate candidates in WA, Yasmin Bartlett and Colin Scott said today they will be holding a 'Community Political Fairness Rally' in Perth on May 11.

Their aim is to bring to voters' attention to the fact that there are more choices on offer at the ballot box than many people realise.

Yasmin and Colin, who are running on a WA Senate group ticket, said today "We want an inclusive, habitable and economic future for ALL Australians and this rally will highlight the fact that we want leaders who can see that future."

"Our main party policies are better planning to stop overdevelopment, a sustainable environment and population, affordable housing and secure jobs via a more diverse economy. These are all fair and mindful issues of the 21st century that voters should consider at the ballot box," Yasmin said.

Yasmin and Colin encourage people to attend on Saturday May 11 at 11.00am at WA Parliament House to voice their concerns about alternative candidates not being given the opportunity to put their case in the media.

"This ultimately amounts to information suppression and a lack of transparency in an election campaign. We expect a fair and meaningful democracy," Yasmin added.
