Members of 7th Brigade took part in Anzac Day commemorations in Brisbane to pay respect to current and former servicemen and women.
Several dawn services took place on Gallipoli Barracks, Enoggera, before hundreds of members attended the Anzac Day parade in the Brisbane CBD.
Brigade Major, Major Tom Lewis, said it was great to see thousands of people from the Brisbane community and beyond attending the parade.
"We'd like to thank the Brisbane community for showing up in incredible numbers for the 2023 Anzac Day ceremony," he said.
"Our relationship with the community has grown stronger and stronger in recent times and we're thrilled to see that's continuing this year.
"It's fantastic to see so many veterans and families of current and former members taking part too."
Led by 7th Brigade Commander Brigadier Michael Say, members were cheered by the crowd as they marched down the streets.
Brigade Regimental Sergeant Major Warrant Officer Class One Sean Chainey said it was a proud moment for all those involved.
"It's great to see so many people from the Brisbane community and beyond come along and pay their respects to current and former members; it's a really special day for us," he said.
"Each year, we come together on Anzac Day to commemorate the service and sacrifice of Australians, and we're honoured to play a part in maintaining this tradition."
Thousands of other Defence-related associations and individuals also took part in the parade, including Legacy and World War 2 veterans.
There were countless medals visible in the crowd, with the families of former members making sure the memory of their loved ones lived on.
