Concern for missing girl Jazmyn Shaw

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Grovedale teen Jazmyn Shaw.

The 16-year-old was last seen at her home address in Carnarvon Drive before she set off to take the family dog for a walk about 7.30pm.

Police and family have concerns for Jazmyn's welfare as she has autism and her disappearance is out of character.

Jazmyn is described as about 168cm tall, with a medium build and dark long hair which is shaved on the right side of her head.

She was last seen wearing all black and walking the family black and tan kelpie.

Patrols by local police have been unable to locate Jazmyn.

Police have released an image of Jazmyn in the hope someone may have seen her and can provide information regarding her whereabouts.

Anyone who sees Jazmyn is urged to contact Geelong Police Station on 5225 3100.
