Police are seeking public assistance to help locate missing Heidelberg Heights man Claude Melli.
The 74-year-old was last seen at a medical facility on Cooper Street in Epping about 7.40am today.
Police and family hold concerns for Claude's welfare as he has dementia and requires medication.
Claude is believed to be travelling on foot and was last seen wearing a blue and white striped polo t-shirt and cream-coloured chinos.
Investigators have released an image of Claude in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information regarding his current whereabouts.
Anyone who sees Claude or has information about his current whereabouts is asked to contact the Epping Police Station on 9409 8100.
