Ever played at Dallas Brooks Reserve? We have an exciting announcement for you!
The Dallas Brooks sports fields and carpark works have begun.
Beginning in late October, this project addresses concerns from local sporting clubs and community organisations.
These include:
- Reconstruction of four full-size soccer pitches, one to National Premier League and three to domestic standards
- Improved access pathways
- Improved car parking
- New lighting
- New drainage
- New fencing.
Did you know that Dallas Brooks Reserve is one of the main sporting reserves servicing Mornington? These works ensure that by completion in March 2027, the Mornington Soccer Club and other community groups can enjoy a safe, accessible and high-quality recreation space.
The project is funded via Mornington Peninsula Shire Council and the Australian Government's Thriving Suburbs Program.

Quotes attributable to Mayor Councillor Anthony Marsh:
"We've listened to our clubs and community, and it's great to see this much-needed upgrade finally underway. With support from the Australian Government, we're delivering the fields, lighting and access improvements locals have been asking for, so Mornington has the facilities it needs."
Quotes attributable to Moorooduc Ward Councillor Bruce Ranken:
"Say goodbye to the struggles of finding a carpark on a busy Saturday game day. Come 2027, we can all enjoy one new National Premier League standard pitch as well as three domestic standard pitches, with plenty of parking spots, easier access and high-quality spaces."
