The Central Coast community is set for a major boost to frontline emergency care, with construction now underway on the new Lisarow Ambulance Station.
Member for The Entrance David Mehan and Minister for the Central Coast David Harris will today join local paramedics to turn the first sod on the new station at 60 Railway Crescent, Lisarow, marking a major milestone for the project.
The new ambulance station will include:
- 10 ambulance vehicle parking bays, including a dedicated wash bay
- administration and office areas
- staff amenities including a gym
- on-site parking
- logistics and storage facilities.
Construction of the new station is expected to be completed in late 2027.
Along with new ambulance stations for Berkeley Vale and Kincumber, the new Lisarow Ambulance Station is being delivered by the Minns Labor Government to boost frontline emergency care on the Central Coast as part of the $615.5 million NSW Ambulance Infrastructure Program.
The NSW Ambulance Infrastructure Program will deliver 30 new ambulance stations and support infrastructure across Sydney, the Central Coast, Newcastle, the Hunter and Illawarra regions over the coming years.
This is part of the Minns Labor Government's plan to rebuild our frontline workforce, including by delivering a historic pay increase for our paramedics and recruiting an additional 500 paramedics in rural and regional areas.
