Communities in Oran Park, Camden and Narellan are set for a major boost to frontline emergency care, with construction now underway on the new Oran Park Ambulance Station.
Member for Camden Sally Quinnell joined local paramedics today to turn the first sod for the new station at Porter St, Oran Park, marking a major milestone for the project.
The new ambulance station will feature:
- 12 ambulance vehicle parking bays, including a dedicated wash bay
- administration and office areas
- staff amenities, including a gym
- on-site parking
- logistics and storage facilities.
Site establishment works are underway, with construction activity expected to increase in the coming months and completion anticipated in late 2027.
The new purpose-built ambulance station is being delivered as part of the NSW Government's $615.5 million NSW Ambulance Infrastructure Program alongside 29 other new ambulance stations across the state.
The Oran Park Ambulance Station is also one of 10 new ambulance stations planned across Western Sydney, including Aerotropolis/Badgerys Creek, Bargo, Raby, Prestons, Glenmore Park, Prairiewood, Glendenning, South Windsor and Carlingford.
This is all part of the Minns Labor Government's plan to rebuild our frontline workforce including by delivering a historic pay increase for our paramedics and recruiting an additional 500 paramedics in rural and regional areas.
