- Underutilised Government land to deliver 12 new homes in Exmouth with works expected to begin in mid-2027
- Government releasing well-located land for more housing so all Western Australians have the security a home provides
The Cook Government's Housing Diversity Pipeline (HDP) is accelerating the delivery of more housing for Western Australians with the release of underutilised land in Exmouth for housing and commercial offerings.
Two Oceans Pty Ltd will develop land in Exmouth's town centre on Maidstone Crescent for 12 new residential units, a new supermarket, and retail outlets.
The mixed-use commercial and residential development is expected to include a large-format supermarket, four commercial tenancies, including two with associated alfresco areas and more than 60 parking bays.
The apartments will be adjacent to Federation Park and will include self-contained living spaces and terrace gardens or balconies overlooking the park.
Construction is anticipated to start by mid-2027.
The land parcels were identified as part of the HDP program.
Active negotiations are underway with proponents on several other sites, which combined, have the potential to deliver more than 1,000 dwellings.
Other government landholdings identified through the HDP are also for sale, including four sites in Perth and the South West.
