There are 1,057 COVID-19 cases in hospital in Victoria - with 82 active cases and 37 cleared cases in ICU, including 47 on a ventilator.
5,495,540 vaccine doses have been administered by Victoria's state-commissioned services, with 27,908 administered yesterday at state-run centres. 4,347 of these doses were for children aged 5 to 11.
32.6 per cent of Victorians aged 18 and over have had three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine. 93.4 per cent of Victorians aged 12 and over have had two doses.
Victoria was notified of 14,836 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday. This includes:
- 8,539 who tested positive on a Rapid Antigen Test
- 6,297 who returned a positive result on a PCR test.
Of those who reported a positive result on a Rapid Antigen Test yesterday:
- About 65 per cent were from tests undertaken yesterday, 24 January.
- About 17 per cent were from tests undertaken on 23 January.
- The remainder of the tests were undertaken over the previous five days.
Sadly, the Department was notified yesterday of 29 deaths of people aged in their 30s, 70s, 80s and 90s. 12 of these deaths occurred during the last two days. This brings the total number of deaths in Victoria since the pandemic began to 1,850. Of today's reported deaths, 12 were recorded as occurring in the last two days.
There are 183,154 active cases in Victoria.
30,726 PCR tests were processed yesterday. The total number of PCR tests performed in Victoria since the pandemic began is 18,740,372.

Third dose vaccination blitz
We thank everyone who got their vaccine over the weekend during our successful four-day blitz. Between Friday and Monday, 104,480 Victorians got their vaccine through state-run centres. During the same Friday to Monday period the week earlier, take-up was 75,482.
The Royal Exhibition Building had its busiest weekend ever, with 3,392 doses administered on Sunday, which is twice the number of doses delivered across the whole state-run system on the same day 7 weeks ago.
1,300 doses were delivered each day at Frankston and 900 doses were delivered on each of Saturday and Sunday at La Trobe Uni - a significant increase from previous weeks. Dandenong Plaza also had a busy weekend, with more than double their usual numbers.
Child vaccinations update
From today, child vaccinations are on offer at the Royal Exhibition Building - with over 1,600 appointments available this morning.
There are 69,000 vaccination appointments currently available for children aged 5 to 11 over the next 30 days at our state-run centres, and more at GPs and pharmacies.
Book online at your nearest state vaccination centre before you go, or visit the clinic finder to book through a participating GP or pharmacy.
Rapid Antigen Test self-reporting
From 8:30pm to approximately 11:30pm on tonight (Tuesday 25 January), Victoria's Rapid Antigen Test self-reporting system will undergo routine upgrade and maintenance work, and the online form and phone reporting service will not be active during these hours.
If you have a positive Rapid Antigen Test result to report, please isolate immediately and report it when the form and phone reporting service are back online.
If this means you have to report the result the following day, your isolation period won't be extended - because you are required to isolate for 7 days following the date of your test, not the date you report.
