'We were really impressed with The Y's proposal,' said Mayor Chris Hanna.

'The team at The Y have a clear plan to work with our community and make this new program a success, delivering real benefits for local young people,' said Mayor Hanna.

Staff from The Y will hold youth consultation forums in Bombala and Jindabyne in the coming months. These forums will ensure that the activities offered will meet the needs of the youth community in each town.

Local schools, community organisations and youth groups across the region will be invited to work with The Y to promote participation in the program. Advertising and promotion for the calendar of events will run across local schools, community newsletters, events and on social media.
