The City of Casey is proud to support Play It Forward Vic, a remarkable community-driven program transforming lives through sport.
Founded by Charlotte, a local high school student, Play It Forward Vic began as a Year 8 community service project and has grown into a movement delivering sports uniforms to under-resourced communities across Samoa, Timor-Leste, Papua New Guinea and Fiji.
Charlotte's vision was sparked during a family holiday in Fiji, where she discovered the importance of sports uniforms to village teams. Since then, she has delivered uniforms to villages in Fiji and schools such as Chanel College in Samoa, helping netball and rugby teams thrive.
Recently, Casey Fields, Casey Stadium and Olive Road Sporting Complex joined forces with partners Melbourne Football Club and Melbourne City FC to donate several boxes of clothing.
Community members are encouraged to get involved by donating pre-loved sports uniforms or contributing financially to assist with packaging, transport, and delivery costs. Every contribution helps expand the program to reach more communities in 2026 and beyond.
