COVID-19 - Changes to Police Front Counter Operations

NT police are continuing to refine their operations to deal with the COVID-19 virus and its implications.

In order to maintain operational readiness and response, NT Police will temporarily close a number of police front counters in the Darwin area from Sunday 5 April 2020.

The following front counter facilities will be closed to the public until further notice:

  • Darwin Police Station
  • Parap Police Station
  • Casuarina Police Station
  • Peter McAulay Centre
  • Humpty Doo Police Station

The Palmerston Police Station will remain operational with front counter opening hours from 7am to 7pm, seven days a week. The administration of firearms licensing and related activities will also be conducted from this facility.

Those who need to report a non-emergency are encouraged to submit a police report via the 'report a non-emergency' form on our website - www.pfes.nt.gov.au/form/report-online.

Anyone who is in need of emergency police assistance is urged to call 000 or 131 444.
