Researchers from Duke-NUS Medical School have found that the COVID-19 pandemic causes anxiety or depression in a third of adults, and that women, younger adults, and those of lower socioeconomic status are more susceptible. Their findings raise awareness of people's psychological vulnerability to the pandemic and offer insights into how doctors can tackle the problem.
