Sadly, police can confirm a second 19-year-old man has died as the result of a crash on Midland Highway near Oatlands on Friday, 14 October.
The man was a passenger in a gold Kia Sportage Wagon which was travelling north when it collided with a truck travelling in the opposite direction about 12:15am.
He was taken to hospital in a critical condition and has since passed away.
The driver of the Kia, a 19-year-old man from Telita, sadly died at the scene.
The man driving the truck was not physically injured in the crash.
Our thoughts are with the families and loved ones of all involved.
The crash investigation is ongoing, and a report is being prepared for the coroner.
