Southern Metro Crime Team detectives have arrested a man and located firearms and drugs at Oakleigh East this afternoon, Victoria Police say.
Investigators executed a search warrant at the home about 1.15pm.
During the search a firearm believed to be an AK-47 and an imitation firearm were located and seized.
Police also seized a quantity of what is alleged to be cannabis.
An 18-year-old Oakleigh East man was arrested at the scene.
He is currently assisting investigators with their enquiries.
