Dower: "We're not just satisfied with making semis, we want to win AFF U18 Women's Championship"

It's onto the AFF U18 Women's Championship semi-finals for the CommBank Junior Matildas, who extended their undefeated streak to three last night when they defeated Myanmar, 2-1.

After already securing their spot in the semis with the two dominant performances against the Philippines (4-0) and Malaysia (8-0), the third victory against Myanmar was the icing on the cake for the Australians who have finished at the top of Group B and will take on the runners up from Group A on Thursday at 11 pm AEST for a spot in the final.

"We're delighted to grind out a 2-1 victory over Myanmar in driving rain and heavy conditions and to finish off Group B on top with 3 wins from 3," Head Coach Rae Dower said post-match.

Goals were scored by Daisy Brown in the third minute and Ella O'Grady in the 65th.
