Wingecarribee Shire Council is calling on residents to provide comment on its draft Integrated Planning and Reporting documents following endorsement from Council's Interim Administrator at Wednesday evening's Ordinary Meeting of Council.

Mr Viv May PSM agreed to place Council's draft Operational Plan, draft Budget including Revenue Policy, Fees and Charges, draft Capital Works Program and draft Environmental Levy Works Program on public exhibition.

Council's Acting General Manager Les McMahon said the documents provided Council with a blueprint for future works.

"These documents are critically important for the Shire because they outline our proposed program of works and activities for the immediate years ahead," he said.

Mr McMahon said feedback from residents was a crucial component in the documents being adopted.

"Providing feedback on Council's suite of Integrated Planning and Reporting documents enables residents an opportunity to help set the future course of this Shire."

The draft documents will be on exhibition from Friday 14 May until Friday 11 June 2021 and can be viewed at Council's online Community Engagement Hub at www.yoursaywingecarribee.com.au/ipr-2021-2022.

Hard copies of the document are also available at Council's Moss Vale Civic Centre and Council libraries.

Council will also embark on a multi-stop roadshow starting Tuesday 18 May at the Destination Southern Highlands Welcome Centre in Mittagong allowing residents to meet and ask questions of staff directly involved with the preparation of this year's reports. Hill Top, Robertson, Bundanoon, Moss Vale and Yerrinbool will also host public roadshows. For full itinerary details visit www.yoursaywingecarribee.com.au/ipr-2021-2022.
