Drink-drive charge after East Hills crash, NSW

A man has been charged with mid-range drink driving after he crashed into the front yard of a home in East Hills overnight, NSW Police say.

Officers from Bankstown Police Area Command were called to Lehn Road, East Hills, after a sedan crashed through a retaining wall and garden before hitting a car parked in the driveway about 11.45pm Friday 19 October 2018.

The 43-year-old man failed a breath test at the scene and was arrested and taken to Bankstown Police Station, where he returned an alleged breath analysis reading of 0.149.

The man has been charged with mid-range PCA and his licence has been suspended.

The man, from East Hills, is due to appear in Bankstown Local Court on Wednesday 7 November 2018.
