A 27-year-old man has been charged after officers located a significant amount of drugs in his car during a road safety operation at St Lawrence last week.
As part of the operation, the man was subject to a roadside drug test where he allegedly returned a positive result.
Officers conducted a further search of the man's car where they located more than a kilogram of ice, around 250 grams of cocaine and cannabis oil.
The North Mackay man was charged with six counts of possessing dangerous drugs and utensils.
He is due to appear again in Mackay Magistrates Court on July 14.
Police are reminding those who drive with drugs in their system, they're ten times more likely to be responsible for a crash.
