Police have seized a large amount of illegal drugs after a search at Malvern.
It will be alleged that on Wednesday 29 July, officers from the Serious and Organised Crime Branch searched the property and located a kilogram of cocaine, 300 millilitres of 1,4 butanediol (fantasy), $14,950 cash, a mechanical press believed to be used in the production of cocaine, heat seal bags, a heat sealer and other items indicative of drug trafficking.
A Ducati motorcycle was also seized as a result of the search and will be subject to confiscation proceedings.
A 50-year-old Malvern man was charged with trafficking in a large commercial quantity of a controlled drug and trafficking in a controlled drug.
He was refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court today (Thursday 30 July).
