Perth Police have charged three men as a result of their investigation which commenced in December 2016 in relation to the selling of illicit drugs in East Perth.
Inquiries by officers led to the execution of a several drug search warrant on a unit in Hay Street, East Perth on 19 December 2016, 9 February 2017, 6 April 2017 and 8 May 2017, WA Police say.
It will be alleged officers located and seized:
•Approximately 59 grams of Methylamphetamine;
•Approximately 0.72gm Heroin;
•One MDMA tablet;
•Various prescription drugs including over 250 tablets of different types mostly Dexamphetamine;
•Cash in excess of $20,000;
•70 electronic devices including phones, tablets, laptops and
•Weapons including knives, mobile phone Taser and extendable baton.
A 50 year old man of East Perth is due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court on 6 June 2017, charged with:
Four counts of Possess Prohibited Drug;
Eight counts of Unlawful Possession;
Two counts of Possess Prohibited Drug with Intent to Sell/Supply;
Two counts of Possess Drug Paraphernalia and
One count of Possess Prohibited Weapon.
A 22 year old Armadale man is due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court on 13 June 2017, charged with:
One count of Possess Prohibited Drug with Intent to Sell/Supply;
One count of Unlawful Possession and
One count of Possess Drug Paraphernalia.
A 23 year old man of East Perth is due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court on 22 June 2017, charged with:
Two counts of Possess Prohibited Drug;
Seven counts of Unlawful Possession;
Two counts of Possess Prohibited Drug with Intent to Sell/Supply;
One count of Possess Drug Paraphernalia and
One count of Criminal Damage.
