An elderly man missing from south Sydney has been located safe and well following a search and geo-target message issued this evening.
The 79-year-old man was reported missing to officers from St George Police Area Command after he failed to return to his Kogarah home this afternoon (Wednesday 26 October 2022).
Following inquiries and a geo-target message issued to the area, a member of the public who had received the message recognised the man and located him safe and well about 11.15pm.
Police would like to thank members of the public for their assistance.
