Emergency crews responding to fatal house fire, Woolooga

Police will prepare a report for the Coroner following a fatal house fire in Woolooga early this morning, July 14.

Emergency crews were called at midnight to attend a Booker Street address and arrived to find the house well alight.

Once the fire was extinguished responders located a deceased person believed to be a woman in her 50's.

A crime scene was declared and investigations are ongoing to confirm the identify of the deceased and establish the cause of the fire.
