Three people have been charged after rocks were allegedly thrown at a truck, causing it to crash, at Kingston this morning (January 20).
Police were called just before 5am after reports rocks striking a truck's windscreen caused it to lose control and crash into a guard rail on the Logan Motorway.
The incident closed westbound lanes until about 7am, while the crash was cleared.
The driver and sole occupant of the truck, a 28-year-old Slacks Creek man, was not physically injured.
A 15-year-old girl, 15-year-old boy and 18-year-old man were immediately taken into custody at the scene.
The 18-year-old Logan Central man has been charged with three counts each of endangering the safety of a person in a vehicle with intent and wilful damage.
He is expected to appear before Beenleigh Magistrates Court on February 13.
The 15-year-old Kingston boy has been charged with three counts each of endangering the safety of a person in a vehicle with intent and wilful damage.
He will appear before the Beenleigh Children's Court.
The 15-year-old Churchill girl will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
