Living Learning pottery

From art to music, pottery to permaculture and everything in between, Living & Learning Nillumbik's 2024 Course and Activity Guide has something for everyone.

As a Learn Local provider, Living & Learning Nillumbik offers training opportunities including Barista Basics, Urban Food Gardening, Microsoft Word and Excel, Freelance Photography and more. These Skills Hub courses are ideal for anyone wanting to launch into or re-join the workforce, or to re-train in a new industry.

Our three Neighbourhood Houses – in Eltham, Diamond Creek and Panton Hill – also offer plenty of opportunity to share, learn and connect. Art classes including illustration, clay, watercolour painting and mosaics are available, as well as dance, music, creative writing, Japanese and Italian language classes, bread-making, gardening and cooking courses.

There are courses to suit a range of budgets, and some activities – including walking groups, cuppa and games at Diamond Creek Neighbourhood House and Fitness on the hill at Panton Hill – are free.

There are classes available for all ages and abilities, and all are welcome. There are even classes for children, including pottery, drama and art. Enrolments are open and term 1 begins on Monday 29 January.
