Enter dwelling charges at Spring Hill

A 39-year-old Bundamba man has been charged following a siege at Spring Hill overnight.

Police were initially called to a Park Street address around 3:30pm yesterday following reports of a man allegedly armed with a sledge-hammer inside the property.

Upon arrival, officers were notified that a man had barricaded himself inside a room of the residence.

Just before 2am this morning (November 14), the man was taken into custody.

No one was injured during the operation.

The man has been charged with two counts of enter dwelling and commit, one count each of attempt enter dwelling with intent and possess tainted property. He is due to appear before Brisbane Magistrates Court today (November 14).
