Entertainment for all coming to MEC

MidCoast Council

There is excitement building amongst the arts community as more than 30 diverse performances make their way to the stage at the Manning Entertainment Centre.

The July – December program will provide quality entertainment for the community after recent disruptions due to Covid.

The shows, featuring talented entertainers from Australia and around the globe, will make you laugh, cry, dance and discover new worlds.

Performers from the Naked Magicians, who have just returned from their Las Vegas residency, to Bell Shakespeare theatre company presenting ‘The Comedy of Errors,’ will be sure to entertain.

There are performances for kids including the spectacular and interactive ‘Erth’s Prehistoric World’ and ‘Backbone,’ a high-octane circus.

Join international star, soprano Mirusia, as she performs some of the world’s most well-known songs. You also have the opportunity to see Mark Vincent or Andrew Lloyd Webber’s showcase, ‘Music of the Night’, as they return to the stage due to popular demand.

Queen – Bohemian Rhapsody, Invincible – The Helen Reddy Story, The Sapphires tale and more hit the stage later in the year.

Taree Arts Council will present eight performances of Agatha Christie’s ‘The Unexpected Guest’ in October.

Make it to the MEC to see why patrons keep returning and catch a glimpse of the new 159 seat studio opening later in 2022.

There is plenty of car parking and all-access pathways available.
