Northern Territory Police are seeking public assistance to locate a Darwin Correctional Centre prisoner who absconded from an approved work site in Marrara earlier today.
22-year-old Neville Naroldol was last seen at the work site at about 11:00am.
The man is not considered a risk to public safety, however police ask if anyone sees him to not approach but instead contact police.
Police are conducting several lines of inquiry into Mr Naroldol's whereabouts. He is described as 180cm tall, black hair, Indigenous with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a hi-vis yellow shirt, long khaki pants and boots.
If anyone sees him or knows of his whereabouts is urged to contact police on 131 444 or report it anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
