Midland Detectives with the assistance of New South Wales Police have successfully sought the extradition of a 53 year old man from Darlinghurst, in relation to historic child sexual offences. The extradited man will arrive in Perth with Midland Detectives this afternoon (10 August 2018).
It is alleged in 1995, the man indecently assaulted a boy who was nine years old. The boy was receiving piano lessons from the man, WA Police say.
The man has been charged with two counts of Indecent Dealings with a Child under the age of 13. He is due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court tomorrow, Saturday 11 August 2018.
The investigation is ongoing and Midland Detectives urge anyone with any information regarding this matter to call Crime Stoppers.
