About 10:55am, a blue Honda Jazz hatchback and a white Isuzu light truck, collided at the intersection of Lion Street and Albany Highway.
An 88-year-old man who was a passenger in the Honda Jazz sustained critical injuries and was conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital. He sadly died in hospital on 14 May 2025.
The 88-year-old female driver of the Honda Jazz was treated for minor injuries and the 24-year-old male driver of the truck was not injured.
