One person has died following a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on West Coast Road, Te Kōpuru in the Kaipara District this afternoon.
The crash was reported to Police at 3.07pm.
Emergency services attended but sadly the pedestrian died at the scene.
The road remains closed while the Serious Crash Unit conduct a scene examination, motorists are asked to avoid the area.
