Fatal Motorbike Crash, Stanmore

A man has died following a single-vehicle motorbike crash in Stanmore yesterday, 5 November.

Police were called to Cove Road around 2.25pm on Wednesday, following reports a Yamaha Xvs650 motorcycle had left the road and crashed.

The rider, a 75-year-old Banksia Beach man, sustained serious injuries.

He was airlift to Royal Brisbane Women's Hospital in a critical condition and was declared deceased late Wednesday evening.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
