Protecting Canadian workers and building a strong economy go hand in hand, and the Government of Canada is advancing both by investing in innovative safety technology made in the Atlantic Region.

Today, Tom Osborne, Member of Parliament for Cape Spear, announced federal support for Audyse Technology Inc. (Audyse) to further develop its flagship product, AudyseHEAR, and expand into new markets ($200,000 repayable).

This investment supports Audyse in improving its data intelligence platform and bringing the hearing protection technology from prototype to market, supporting safer workplaces and helping the company compete and grow in Canada and internationally. The project will strengthen the company's capacity to scale operations and pursue new commercial opportunities in industrial safety markets.

Today's announcement further demonstrates the Government of Canada's commitment to keeping Canadians safe by advancing innovative, Canadian-made tools that support economic growth.

The announcement was made on behalf of the Honourable Sean Fraser, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada and Minister responsible for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency.
