Flinders Highway Julia Creek - Cloncurry | Temporary width restrictions over Scrubby Creek and Holy Joe Creek

From 6am to 6pm daily, Friday 11 February 2022 to Wednesday 16 February 2022, temporary width restrictions will be in place over Scrubby Creek and Holy Joe Creek located on the Flinders Highway (Julia Creek - Cloncurry), while asphalt work is undertaken to improve road safety.

Vehicles with a ground contact width or load width exceeding 3.5m:

• must contact the site contact at least 24 hours before arrival on site

• site contact is Mike McCulloch on 0417 944 353 or 0420 368 489

• failure to comply may result in delays to your journey.

Scrubby Creek is located approximately 70km west of Julia Creek on the Flinders Highway.

Holy Joe Creek is located approximately 40km west of Julia Creek on the Flinders Highway.

Works will involve a single lane closure under traffic control and reduced speed (40km/hr), with delays expected.
