This page aims to provide information and support Central Goldfields Shire residents who have been impacted by the recent flood event.

RECOVERY CENTRE

The Maryborough Recovery Centre, located at Council's Customer Service Centre has been established for residents who have been displaced following the flood event.
Its purpose is to provide information as well as support to residents who wish to apply for financial hardship grants.

Council's Customer Service Centre is located at 22 Nolan Street, Maryborough.

Commonwealth Bank emergency assistance

Commonwealth Bank is providing Emergency Assistance to its customers.

It includes a range of options, including:

  • Customised payment arrangements for home loans, credit card, personal loan and some business loans.
  • Waiving fees and charges.
  • Temporary overdrafts, additional loans or emergency credit limit increases (subject to credit approval).
  • Waiving fees and notice periods for early access to Term Deposits.
  • For general insurance customers, CBA Insurance provided by Hollard can assist with emergency accommodation if your home has been damaged.
  • Loan restructuring for business customers and existing loans.
  • Waiving fees for temporary and damaged merchant EFTPOS terminals, as well as support with merchant terminal rental fees.
  • We can also expedite claims for customers seeking help for their home and contents through their CBA Insurance provided by Hollard.
