Midland Detectives have charged a man following an incident in the Lesmurdie Falls on Thursday 30 December 2021.
It will be alleged around 4.30pm the victim, a 20-year-old woman, was parked in the carpark situated in Palm Terrace, Forrestfield when she was approached by the man. He stuck and smashed her vehicles window using a baseball bat and assaulted her.
She received medical treatment for her injuries.
The 32-year-old Maida Vale man was arrested by Midland Detectives a short time later and charged with:
•Attempted Deprivation of Liberty;
•Impede a person's normal breathing or circulation by applying pressure on, or to, their neck;
•Assault Occasioning Bodily Harm; and
•Criminal Damage.
He is due to appear in the Midland Magistrates Court on 31 December 2021.
