Online forums are the next stage of Logan City Council's Music Action Plan project.
The plan, launched in June with the support of industry experts, aims to identify ways in which Council can collaborate with local venues, artists and businesses to help enrich the city's live music scene.
Local artists, venue owners, music business operators and industry members are invited to take part in the online forums from 5.30pm to 7.30pm on Tuesday, September 14 and Tuesday, September 21.
City Lifestyle Committee Chair Councillor Laurie Koranski said the two sessions would allow the local industry to come together to discuss challenges they are facing.
"It is an ideal opportunity to explore new ways to support the growth and sustainability of the music scene across our region," Cr Koranski said.
"I encourage everyone with an interest in our live music scene to take part."
A discussion paper will be circulated to attendees, along with a Zoom meeting link, before each forum.

Those interested in the local music scene can also let their views be known through two online surveys - one for the community and the other for industry representatives and artists.

Craig is a writer and artist who grew up in Beenleigh. He has developed government strategies and projects to support the music industry while co-managing an independent record label and music company.
The Music Action Plan is supported by the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland.
