Four arrested and cannabis found at Lonsdale

Four people have been arrested and a large amount of cannabis plants have been found during searches in the southern suburbs.

Police will allege that about 6pm on Thursday 21 May, officers searched a property in Enterprise Court at Lonsdale, with 74 cannabis plants, five kilograms of dried cannabis and hydroponic equipment seized, along with six vehicles including a Kia Sorento and Holden utes.

Four people who were at the premises, a 40-year-old Noarlunga Downs man, a 36-year-old Christie Downs man, a 32-year-old Seaford man and a 35-year-old Seaford Rise woman were arrested and charged with numerous offences including cultivating and trafficking a large commercial quantity of a controlled drug and theft of electricity.

They were all bailed to appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on 23 June.
