Four men have been charged after two men were assaulted, and one of them detained, in Sydney’s south west.
About 4pm yesterday (Saturday 4 November 2017), four men attended a home on Martens Way at Claymore and confronted the occupants.
The group demanded to speak with a man; however, he wasn’t at the house.
Police have been told a female occupant then took two of the men to a home on Peats Close at Eagle Vale, while the other two men remained at the home on Martens Way.
Two men in the Peats Close home, aged 25 and 22, were then allegedly assaulted by two offenders. Both sustained lacerations and swelling to their head.
They then allegedly threatened the 25-year-old with a pistol, causing him to enter a vehicle with the one of the male offenders and the woman. The vehicle then returned to the Martens Way address. One of the offenders remained at the Peat Close address.
Police were notified by other residents and attended both addresses, arresting all four male offenders.
At the Martens Way address, police seized a loaded black pistol and a machete in the back seat of a vehicle.
Two further pistols were located in a freezer at the address and a sawn off shotgun was found in a drawer.
Crime scenes were established at both addresses and examined.
The four men, aged 28, 26, 24 and 23, were taken to Macquarie Fields Police Station and charged.
The 28-year-old was charged with take/detain person in company with intent to obtain advantage; possess loaded firearm; and assault causing actual bodily harm in company.
The 26-year-old was charged with take/detain person in company with intent to obtain advantage.

The 23-year-old was charged with take/detain person in company with intent to obtain advantage.
They were all refused bail to appear at Parramatta Bail Court this morning (Sunday 5 November 2017).
