Free mentoring sessions for local small business

Baw Baw Shire Council, in conjunction with Small Business Mentoring Service (SBMS), is offering free monthly business mentoring sessions to support local businesses.

Completely private and confidential, the free sessions aim to connect small businesses with experienced mentors to provide tailored and specific support, advice and guidance for better business outcomes.

Sessions will be held every second Tuesday of the month, rotating in different locations across Baw Baw Shire.

Upcoming session details

  • Warragul - Tuesday 11 February, Herd Coworking, 15 Napier Street
  • Drouin - Tuesday 10 March, Drouin Civic Centre, 33 Young Street

Session details will become available two months in advance. More session details will be released shortly.

SBMS is an incorporated not-for-profit association that started its journey in 1986 with just 14 members. Today there are around 150 Mentors, both male and female, who have the skills and experience to help small businesses.

This initiative is being delivered through Council's Economic Development Strategy 2018-21
