Police are appealing for information following a house fire in the Illawarra region last month under Strike Force Zilop.
About 9.40am on Sunday 23 August 2026, emergency services were called to Central Road, Unanderra, after reports of a house fire.
Officers attached to Lake Illawarra Police District attended along with Fire and Rescue NSW crews, who extinguished the fire.
One occupant, a 43-year-old man, was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to Wollongong hospital with minor injuries.
A crime scene was established and has been examined by specialist officers.
Strike Force Zilop has been established to investigate the circumstances of the fire.
