Free sessions available to help with arts grant writing

Cairns Regional Council is offering free one-on-one sessions to meet potential applicants who are keen to receive advice on preparing Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) applications.

Large grants of up to $10,000 will be available when the next major grant round opens in late September.

The RADF Roadshow sessions also provide information on the Small Arts Grants and Individual Professional Development Grant, which are open all year round until funds are exhausted.

Sessions start Tuesday 15 August and will be held at the below libraries across the city:

  • Tuesday 15 August, Earlville Library (10am to 3.30pm)
  • Wednesday 16 August, Cairns City Library (10am to 3.30pm)
  • Thursday 17 August, Smithfield Library (10am to 3.30pm)
  • Friday 18 August, Babinda Library (10am to midday)
  • Friday 18 August, Gordonvale Library (1pm to 3.30pm)
  • Monday 21 August, Edmonton Library (10am to 3.30pm)
  • Tuesday 22 August, Manunda Library (10am to 3.30pm)
  • Wednesday 23 August, Stratford Library (10am to 3.30pm).

Spaces are limited and bookings are essential. Registrations close Thursday 10 August.
