More than 3,300 foster and family carer households can enjoy a free day out to Perth Zoo, WA Museum Boola Bardip and the WA Maritime Museum thanks to the Cook Labor Government.

The free passes are being offered as part of Foster and Family Carers Week celebrations, which is being held from Monday, 28 July to Sunday, 3 August 2025.

The latest incentive by the Cook Government could save eligible families more than $300 on ticket prices to visit some of Western Australia's greatest attractions.

The passes include access to Perth Zoo's exciting new immersive experience with primates swinging overhead as part of the recently opened gibbon habitat.

The free passes for Perth Zoo can be used throughout the full Foster and Family Carers Week from Monday 28 July to Sunday 3 August, while the WA Museum and WA Maritime Museum free passes are for Saturday 2 August and Sunday 3 August.

The Cook Government is encouraging more Western Australians to support vulnerable children and young people by becoming a foster or family carer this Foster and Family Carers Week.

The campaign highlights the foster and family carer opportunities available to suit a range of lifestyles, including temporary care, emergency care, short break care and long-term care.

Now in its third year, the "Become a foster carer - Make a different to a child's life" campaign shines a light on the rewarding foster and family carer opportunities available in WA.
