FSU to host ACC InVenture Prize

Florida State University will host the ACC InVenture competition where student entrepreneurs from all 15 ACC universities will present innovative projects for a chance to win up to $15,000.

The Shark Tank-style competition celebrates creativity and is an opportunity for students to showcase their abilities and present their work in front of an expert panel as well as a live and televised audience.

The"Barbot" team will represent FSU in the contest. Their automated robotic bartender creates fast, easy and convenient drinks at home. The team is one of the residents in the Greenhouse Incubator at the Jim Moran College of Entrepreneurship.

The ACC InVenture Prize will be livestreamed via PBS stations in ACC markets.

The event will take place at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 2 in Ruby Diamond Concert Hall on the FSU campus.
