Ongoing support from the Australian and NSW Governments has allowed North West Local Land Services to continue to offer targeted grants to landholders and community groups across the region to implement on-ground works and capacity building projects.
North West Local Land Services Team Leader, Sara Chapman, said she is looking forward seeing the results of land managers bringing business and natural resource management together to protect and conserve soils, targeted native fauna species, and aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems.
"After the success of the 'Check, Ready, Grow' program last year, Local Land Services will be hosting three webinars to help kick-start your farm business towards natural resource management improvements. Check, Ready, Grow 2.0 will focus on your farm business goals and align these with opportunities for funding through North West Local Land Services. Attending these webinars could improve the likelihood of success of your project by identifying clear farm goals linked to improving your farm's natural asset base".
