Further arrests after Tarneit affray

Wyndham police have made further arrests following an affray at a Tarneit school earlier this week.

Three girls, aged 13, 14 and 15, were arrested by officers from the Proactive Policing Unit at addresses in Tarneit this morning.

Local youth workers provided support as part of the Embedded Youth Outreach Program.

The 15-year-old was charged with affray, stalking, riotous behaviour and assault.

She was bailed to appear before a children's court at a later date.

The 13-year-old and 14-year-old are expected to be charged on summons with affray, assault and stalking-related offences.

The arrests follow an incident at a Leakes Road school about 3.50pm Tuesday 22 August.

Five girls were arrested at the scene.

One was charged and bailed, while the rest were released pending summons.

The investigation remains ongoing and further arrests are expected.
