Futsal Championships Secure Gold Coast Return

Football Australia is delighted to confirm the Gold Coast will host the National Futsal Championships through until 2028.

Delivered by Football Queensland, in partnership with Experience Gold Coast, the 2026-2028 editions will showcase the best emerging futsal talent from eight Member Federations across Australia against the backdrop of one of Queensland's most iconic locations.

The 2026 National Futsal Championships will be held from Tuesday, 13 January to Saturday, 17 January 2026 across the Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre and Carrara Indoor Sports Stadium.

The new agreement secures a hat-trick of National Futsal Championships for the Gold Coast, providing consistency and stability for Australia's largest futsal competition.

The Championship will also create opportunities to grow the game, strengthen community engagement, deliver significant tourism benefits to the region and support continued growth over the next three years.

The 2025 National Futsal Championships will feature players from U12-U16 Boys, Youth Men and Open Men, plus U13, U15, U17 Girls, Youth Women, Open Women, and Open AWD (Athletes with Disabilities) Mixed.
