Gawler robbery

Police have release CCTV footage after two men armed with weapons threatened two victims outside a Gawler hotel early this morning.

About 2.30am on Friday 17 November, two victims were leaving a Gawler hotel on Nineteenth Street, when a man in possession of what appeared to be a firearm confronted them and demanded cash. A second suspect approached them and hit one victim in the legs with a pole.

The suspect then reached into the victim's vehicle and stole her black handbag.

Both suspects ran west towards the Gawler train station where they were last seen heading north.

One victim suffered minor injuries and was treated by SAAS at the scene. The second victim was taken to the local hospital where she was treated.

One suspect is described as being a man of Caucasian appearance with a heavy build. He was wearing a dark coloured top with a motif across the front, dark coloured trousers and a dark hood or balaclava covering his face.

The second suspect is described as being a Caucasian man with a heavy build. He was wearing all black coloured clothing with white writing on the lower right leg of his pants. He was carrying a black pole.
